It's embarrassing that there are genuinely talented people out there, on this very site, who have incredible amounts of talent and produce excellent art. And yet somehow, stuff like this makes DD instead. This isn't anything exemplary, in any way shape or form. I doubt that this is something everyone is thinking after looking at it, "OH MY GOD, I REALLY NEEDED TO SEE THIS. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE BEST THING I'VE SEEN THIS MONTH ON DA."

Hi. :D I am the CV who DD'ed this piece. If you have negative thoughts on why this piece was chosen, please drop me a note or leave a comment on my page. No need to leave the criticism on the deviation as there is a chance I won't see your opinion, or won't see for days later. Also, the deviant had no say in this piece being picked, so he can't really do anything about your comment. Thanks for reading!

Hello. At the time I left my previous comment, I was acting on an impulse and was not properly versed on the correct ways of leaving feedback on DDs or art in general. It was not something I ordinarily do when I peruse works on DA, and was the result of poor judgment. I apologize for my earlier conduct, and it won't happen again.

No worries! :D

I guess you should write that to the dA guy who made my work a DD, not in a comment ;)

FAQ #873: What do I do when I disapprove of a Daily Deviation feature?

Also, the reasons you've listed isn't the reason a DD is given. Even if it was, there's no need to direct this towards the artist because they cannot choose whether the DD is awarded to them or not.

And if you see those people out there with incredible amounts of talent without a DD, you can always suggest it yourself.
